cd1, the remix-compilation, pays homage to and is directly inspired by vx, keeping their style and lyrics. some are sang/spoken anew and merged into different styles of sound and schemes (punk, ambient). interesting and funny, if you know the originals.cd2 features vx's new versions, mostly quiet and in chanson-style with contained instrumentalisation. in summary a relaxed and mild release with almost listening qualities that might leave listeners with the question wether it's natural musical progress or folks have grown mature (or, well...old). but, remember: the saga continues as fau:x.
